MIRACLES - Reflections
This week, we started a brand new series called: "Miralces." In the gospels, Jesus performed at least 35 miralces. This week, we talked about one of my favorites ... "Jesus Calms The Storm." I love the fact the Jesus never panics. What miracles have you experienced?
I have considered this question for some time and I have to say that the greatest miracle I have experienced is the presence of my son. Sometimes I feel that some parents trivialize the presence of their children - as a rite of passage, an unfortunate 'side effect', or just a fact of life. I look at my son every day and am amazed again and again at the person he is. I clearly see parts of me and parts of my husband, but am most filled with joy at the individual that he is becoming as he grows. Despite the influences within and without our home, he still sees things in his own perspective, develops his own opinions and conclusions, forms his own definate likes and dislikes. God's design for children awes me on a daily basis and I only need look at my 6 year old to be reminded of his presence at every moment.

Back before i came to Victory in Lakeland, my Mom was healed over night of terminal lupus. Literally over night, to this day, it is a testament to God's power and Love in my family's life.
